Powertrain Control Module (Pcm) Removal/Installation - Hybrid: Removal

  1. Retrieve the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration retrieval steps of the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure. See PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION .
  2. Detach the wiring harness retainer from the cowl stud bolt.
  3. Disconnect the 3 PCM electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the 2 bolts and the PCM.
  5. Remove and inspect the PCM cowl seal. Install new if damaged.
