3 Inspect the steering switch. 
  • Measure the resistance between steering switch terminal K and M.

    (See STEERING SWITCH INSPECTION .)

  • Can the resistance be measured?
 Yes
  • Replace the information display.
No
  • Inspect for an open or short circuit in the steering switch related wiring harness, poor connection or terminal disconnection of the connector.
  • If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the malfunctioning location.
