Remote Controller Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Side door garnish (See SIDE DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear side trim (See REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Sliding door trim (See SLIDING DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Sliding door inner handle (See INNER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. Disconnect the link and cable.
  5. Remove the screws.
  6. Remove the bolt.
  7. Remove the remote controller.
  8. Remove the sliding door lock actuator. (See SLIDING DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
