Variable Tumble Control Operation Inspection: Notes

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Access the ECT PID. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST .)
  3. Verify that ECT PID is less than 63°C {145°F}.
  4. Start the engine.
  5. Inspect rod operation under the following conditions:
