Ultrasonic Sensor Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear combination light (Refer to REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear splash shield (Refer to REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Rear bumper (Refer to REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. While pressing the ultrasonic sensor tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the ultrasonic sensor in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the ultrasonic sensor tabs from the bracket.

  5. Remove the ultrasonic sensor.
  6. While pressing the bracket tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, push the bracket in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the bracket tabs from the rear bumper.

  7. Remove the bracket.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
