Fuel Pump Unit Inspection

Continuity Inspection 

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
2. Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Remove the service hole cover. (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector.
5. Inspect for continuity between fuel pump unit terminals A-B.

   • If there is no continuity, replace the fuel pump unit. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
