Drive Plate Removal/Installation: Notes

1. Remove the transaxle. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (GW6A-EL) .) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (GW6AX-EL) .)
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

   1	Drive plate installation bolts (See DRIVE PLATE INSTALLATION BOLTS REMOVAL NOTE .) (See DRIVE PLATE INSTALLATION BOLTS INSTALLATION NOTE .)
   2	Backing plate
   3	Drive plate

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
