Keyless Beeper Inspection
NOTE:
- The integrity of the keyless beeper cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the keyless beeper, perform the following procedure.
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Perform the DTC inspection for the BCM. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
- If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) (US)] .)
- If DTCs are not detected, go to the next step.
- Using the body control module (BCM) simulation KEY_BUZZER, verity that the keyless beeper sounds.
- If the keyless beeper does not sound, replace the keyless beeper. (See KEYLESS BEEPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
