Indicator Light Inspection

NOTE:

The indicator light is built into the AUTOHOLD switch. If there is any malfunction, replace the electric parking brake switch. (See ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
Remove the electric parking brake switch. (See ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Apply battery positive voltage to electric parking brake switch terminal L, and connect terminal G to ground.

Verify that the indicator light turns on.
