Connector Inspection
CAUTION:
For Mazda M Hybrid vehicles only
- Disconnect the ground plate when servicing the following Mazda M Hybrid related parts. Otherwise, they could be damaged.
- Integrated starter generator (ISG)
- Mazda M Hybrid battery
- DC-DC converter (Mazda M Hybrid)
- Seat warmer control unit (with Mazda M Hybrid, seat warmer system, and without position memory system)
- Position memory control module (with Mazda M Hybrid and position memory system)
- Front seat (driver's side) (with Mazda M Hybrid and seat warmer system)
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Disconnect the ground plate. (For servicing Mazda M Hybrid related parts)
- Disconnect the applicable connector.NOTE:
- For the connector disconnection procedure, refer to the removal/installation procedure for each part.
- Inspect the applicable connector for the following: (See ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (US)

- Connector engagement and connection condition
- Damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection of terminal
- If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the malfunctioning location.
