Tweeter Removal/Installation

CAUTION:
  • If the procedure is performed while holding the tweeter cone, it could deform the cone causing a malfunction. Therefore, perform the procedure while holding any part other than the cone.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the front door trim. (See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. Remove the screws.
  5. Remove the cover.
  6. While pressing the front door trim in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure below, pull the tweeter in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the tweeter tabs from the front door trim.

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
