Request Switch Removal/Installation: Liftgate

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the service hole cover.

  3. While pressing the request switch tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, move the request switch in the direction of arrow (2), and detach the request switch tab from the liftgate.

  4. Disconnect the connector and remove the request switch.

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
