Commander Switch Removal/Installation

CAUTION:
  • The connectivity master unit (CMU) determines the presence/non-presence of the commander switch based on the communication condition between the commander switch and records it when the ignition is switched to ACC or ON (engine off or on) the first time after connecting the negative battery terminal.
  • If the commander switch is installed with the negative battery terminal connected and the connectivity master unit (CMU) recorded that there is no commander switch, the commander switch does not operate.
  • For the commander switch installation/removal, always disconnect the negative battery terminal, switch the ignition to ACC or ON (engine off or on) after the servicing is completed so that the connectivity master unit (CMU) records the presence/non-presence of the commander switch.
