Drive Plate Removal/Installation: Notes

1. Remove the transaxle. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GW6A-EL] .) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GW6AX-EL] .)
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

   1	Drive plate installation bolts (See Drive Plate Installation Bolts Removal Note .) (See Drive Plate Installation Bolts Removal Note .)
   2	Backing plate
   3	Drive plate

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
