Power Window Main Switch Removal/Installation

NOTE:
  • The power window main switch is integrated with the power outer mirror switch.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the driver-side door trim. (See DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Move the edges of the switch panels in the directions of the arrows shown in the figure and detach the tabs from the switch panels in the order starting from the vehicle front side.

  4. Remove the power window main switch from the switch panel.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  6. If the power window main switch is replaced, perform the power window system initial setting. (See POWER WINDOW SYSTEM INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE .)
