Rearview Mirror Removal/Installation: Notes
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
- Remove the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)CAUTION:
- Detach the rearview mirror from the mirror base while holding the rearview mirror by hand. Otherwise, the rearview mirror may fall off and be damaged.
- Move the rearview mirror in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the rearview mirror from the mirror base.
- Remove the rearview mirror. (See Rearview Mirror Installation Note .)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
