Drive Selection Switch Removal/Installation: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the selector lever knob. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the shift panel component. (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the upper panel. (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove in the order indicated in the table.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
