Transfer Oil Inspection [C66MX-R]

Replacement Part 

Oil and Chemical Type 

1. Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Remove the bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
3. Remove the heat shield. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
4. Remove the transfer bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
5. Remove the oil level plug and with the washer.

6. Verify that there is transfer oil around the oil level plug installation hole by hand.
   • If there is a lack of oil, add transfer oil from the oil level plug installation hole.

   Transfer oil type
   MAZDA LONG LIFE HYPOID GEAR OIL SG1

7. Install the oil level plug with a new washer.

8. Install the transfer bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
9. Install the heat shield. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
10. Install the bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
11. Install the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
