Transfer Oil Replacement [C66MX-R]

Replacement Part 

Oil and Chemical Type 

1. Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Remove the drain plug with the washer.

3. Drain the Transfer oil.
4. Install the drain plug with a new washer.

5. Remove the bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
6. Remove the heat shield. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
7. Remove the transfer bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
8. Remove the oil level plug and washer, and then add transfer oil from the oil level plug installation hole.

   Transfer oil type	Transfer oil capacity (approx. quantity)
   MAZDA LONG LIFE HYPOID GEAR OIL SG1	0.35 L {0.37 US qt, 0.31 Imp qt}

9. Install the oil level plug with a new washer.

10. Install the transfer bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
11. Install the heat shield. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
12. Install the bracket. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66MX-R] .)
13. Install the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
