Resistance Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Seal cover (See SEAL COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Front suspension tower bar (Vehicles with front suspension tower bar) (See FRONT SUSPENSION TOWER BAR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Intake manifold (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the KS connector.
Remove the bolt. (See KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the KS. (See KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Measure the resistance between KS terminals A and B.
