Selector Cable Adjustment: Notes

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts.
1. Select lever knob (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Front console upper panel (See FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Upper panel (without wireless charger (Qi)) (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Wireless charger (Qi) (with wireless charger (Qi)) (See WIRELESS CHARGER (Qi) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8. Console-up (See CONSOLE-UP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
9. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Shift the selector lever to the P position.
Move the safety lock in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below and release the safety lock.

Press the tabs of the adjuster case shown in the figure below in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure below.

Press out the lock piece in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure above and release the lock.
Set the manual shaft to the P position.

Press in the lock piece in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure below, press in the safety lock in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure below, and lock it. (See SELECTOR CABLE (SELECTOR LEVER SIDE) INSTALLATION NOTE .)

Perform the procedure in the reverse order of Step 1 to 9 to install the removed part.
Perform the selector lever inspection. (See SELECTOR LEVER INSPECTION .)
