Inspect Sub-Battery: Notes
WARNING:
- The electrolyte is toxic. Be careful when handling it.
- The electrolyte is highly corrosive. Be careful not to allow it to adhere to clothes or a vehicle body.
- If the electrolyte comes in contact with the skin, an eye, or clothes, wash it off well with running water. Especially, if it gets into an eye, wash it off for 15 min and seek treatment by a medical specialist.
CAUTION:
- Do not remove the top cover of the battery because it is a maintenance-free battery.
- Do not apply excessive force to the sub-battery terminals, otherwise they could be deformed.
NOTE:
- Perform if a sub-battery open circuit or a sub-battery deterioration related DTC is detected.
