ECT Sensor No. 1

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] .)
  3. Disconnect the ECT sensor No. 1 connector.
  4. Remove the ECT sensor No. 1 using the SST.

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  6. Refill the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] .)
