Steering Column: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure and note the following: On chassis types 107 and 123, always use new steering wheel Allen screw when installing steering wheel. On 450 models, hold steering shaft in place with pin through hole in jacket tube. Check that lower tube on chassis type 123 is not bent or distorted. Use caution when installing jacket tube to prevent damage to this shaft.
