Fuel Pump
The fuel pump for the 190D engine has a increased delivery capacity. This in turn makes the fuel system self-venting. Venting of the injection pump requires an orifice in the overflow valve. The overflow valve prevents unfiltered fuel from entering the injection pump. See Fig 1 .
