Engine RPM Sensor

With engine off. Disconnect connector and test resistance with Volt/ohmmeter. Reading should be approx. 2000 ohms. If reading is off, replace RPM sensor. If reading is good, check voltage at 700-800 RPM voltage should be approx. 4 volts If voltage is not OK, replace RPM sensor.
