Testing Insulation Resistance Of Speed Sensor Against Ground

  1. Depress push buttons "VL", "VR" and "HA" one after the other. After pushing each button, read value on tester. If Green lamp lights and the digital readout is higher than 20 kohms system is okay. Go to TEST 12. If Green lamp does not light and digital readout is lower than 20 kohms go to to step 2).
  2. Check grounds to each speed sensor. Check coaxial plug or cable connector for ground connection. If harness is okay, replace respective speed sensor.
