Testing Function Of ABS Indicator Lamp (Diode In Locking Direction)

  1. If Green lamp lights and digital readout is between 2.5-5.5 volts, circuit is okay. Go to TEST 16. If Green lamp does not light and digital readout is lower than 2.5 volts or higher than 5.5 volts go to step 2).
  2. Check ABS indicator lamp for being defective. Replace as necessary. Check harness wire to indicator for interruption. If electrical system is okay, replace hydraulic and electronic control units.
