Battery Test
If no lamp lights up, the power supply to the electronic control unit is interrupted. Possible faults:
- Multiple pole plug not connected.
- Line from battery to overvoltage protection interrupted.
- Overvoltage protection defective.
- Grounding line from electronic control unit to overvoltage protection (terminal 2) interrupted.
- Check lines to relay 50.
- Relay 50 defective.
- Grounding line to overvoltage protection interrupted.
NOTE:
If test lamp lights up during one of the following tests, the supply voltage of the battery under load of test jobs is too low.
If test light is Green (okay), go to TEST 1. If test light is Red, check battery voltage (should not be lower than 10.5 volts or higher than 15 volts).
Check battery and recharge (if necessary). Check alternator voltage output, repair as necessary. Proceed to TEST 1.
