Connecting Tester

NOTE: DO NOT drive vehicle with tester connected.

Remove electronic control unit connector (with ignition off). Connect multiple plug (35 point) of cable harness for electronic control unit to plug of tester. Attach plug of tester to electronic control unit (holding spring should engage audibly on plug). Turn ignition switch on. Make sure that all other electrical components are off.

NOTE: Battery voltage is constantly monitored during entire test sequence. Lamps 1 and 2 are check lights.
