Altitude Correction Capsule

  1. Turn engine off. Steering should be in lock "2" position. Disconnect connector from altitude correction capsule. Connect multimeter and set to volt scale.
  2. Probe and check voltage between terminals No. 1 and 2 of correction capsule connector. Voltage reading should be 5 volts. If voltage is 5 volts, replace altitude correction capsule. If voltage is not 5 volts, repair open circuit. If no open circuit is found, replace EDS control unit. See Fig 1 .
