Steering Column: Installation

  1. On types 380SL, 380SE and 300TD, always use new steering wheel Allen screws when installing steering wheel. Check that lower tube on type 300TD is not bent or distorted.
  2. Use caution when installing jacket tube to prevent damage to shaft. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Refer to the TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
