Production Date Information
NOTE:
This diagnostic information applies to 1996-99 models with engine 119 (V8) equipped with Motor Electronics Sequential Fuel Injection (ME-SFI).
Some diagnostic information is divided by vehicle production date breaks. Be sure diagnostic information being used applies to vehicle being diagnosed. The following production date breaks are used in this diagnostic information.
- All models up to 5/96 Body Acceleration Sensor (B24) is used, as of 6/96, B24 is deleted.
- Some information applies to SL500 (model 129) up to 8/97, and as of 9/97.
- Some information applies only to E420 (model 210) 1997 model year.
- Some information applies to S420, S500 and SL500 (models 140 and 129) up to 5/96, and as of 6/96.
- Some information applies to E420 (model 210) up to 5/97, 1997 model year.
- Some information applies to S420 and S500 (model 140) up to 5/96.
