Basic Programming: Notes

  1. Set time on instrument cluster. See SETTING TIME  .
  2. Normalize power windows. One at time completely close each window with power window switch. Hold switch in closed position for one second.
  3. Start engine and run at idle. Turn steering wheel from one lock position to the other to activate steering angle sensor. Center steering wheel. Message "SERVICE EI. STAB. PROGRAM" should erase from multifunction display panel.
  4. If equipped, normalize panoramic sliding roof. Remove fuse for tilting/sliding roof. To locate fuse, see legend on cover of main fuse box. Reinsert fuse. Turn ignition on. Close roller blind completely and hold switch down for one second. Open roller blind completely and hold switch down for one second. Press switch for operating panoramic sliding roof until roof is completely raised. Hold switch down for one second. Close roof and keep switch pressed for one second. If roof cannot be automatically opened, repeat procedure.
  5. If equipped, normalize tilting/sliding roof. Remove fuse for tilting/sliding roof. To locate fuse, see legend on cover of main fuse box. Reinsert fuse. Turn ignition on. Move tilting/sliding roof to front and rear positions. Hold down button in each position for one second. If roof cannot be automatically opened, repeat procedure.
  6. Use seat adjustment switch to move seats all the way forward and back. Hold switch down in each position for a minimum of one second.
