ATEQ TPMS Reset Procedure
NOTE:
Whenever tire pressure has been adjusted, the TPMS must be reactivated before it can work.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
- Ensure inflation pressure of all 4 tires is set to specification.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. The standard display menu will appear in multifunction display on instrument cluster (shows information such as outside temperature, and trip and main odometers).
- Press menu scroll forward or back button (located on left side of multifunction steering wheel) until TPMS menu is displayed.
- Press the up or down button (located on left side of multifunction steering wheel) repeatedly until cluster display reads "TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR ACTIVE. MENU: R-BUTTON".
- Press reset button on instrument cluster. See Fig 1. The multifunction display should now read "RESTART TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR?".
- Press "+" button (located on right side of multifunction steering wheel). The multifunction display will now display "TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR RESTARTED".NOTE: To cancel activation process, press "-" button.
- After driving a few minutes, the system verifies that the current tire inflation pressures are within the system's specified range. Afterwards, the current tire inflation pressures are accepted as reference pressures and then monitored.
