TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes
NOTE:
Whenever tires or wheels are changed, or tire pressure has been adjusted, the TPM system must be reactivated before it can work.
NOTE:
Some Canadian models may be equipped with TPM system called the Tire Pressure Loss Warning System (Run Flat Indicator). It is an Indirect type system, which does not use tire pressure sensors installed on the wheels. The reset procedures are the same as the Direct type sytem, covered in this article, with the exception that the TPMS reactivation messages use the terms "Tire Pressure Loss Warning" or "Run Flat Indicator".
If the low tire pressure warning light illuminates and/or multifunction display shows a message, immediately check air pressure of all tires and adjust to the specified pressure. Reactivate TPM system.
