  Fuel pump control unit, location The control unit is located under the rear seat on the left in direction of travel.  
  Fuel pump control unit, task The fuel pump (M3) is to be actuated by a PWM signal dependent on the fuel pressure.  
  Fuel pump control unit, design It consists of control and power electronics housed in a plastic housing, with two connectors and a metal plate for heat dissipation. It can be diagnosed, protected against reverse polarity and subscribers on the drive train CAN.
