General
The power window motors (1-4) actuate the window lifters and thus facilitate opening and closing of the side windows.
Function
The position of the respective window lifter and thus of the side window is detected by evaluating the current ripple of the power window motors (1-4).
The signal evaluation and actuation is realized, depending on the vehicle, by the respective door control unit or rear control unit.
