Location

The accelerator pedal module control unit is integrated at the accelerator pedal module.

Tasks

Using the AGILITY SELECT switch (N72/4s11) the ECO mode is switched on. By switching on ECO mode, the accelerator pedal module control unit becomes active. Using an actuation point at the accelerator pedal, the transition from pure electrical drive to hybrid operation is signalized. In addition, a recommendation is signaled to the driver as a double pulse at the accelerator pedal that the driver can release the accelerator pedal to initiate the "Cruising".

IMPORTANT When "Cruising", the driver must brake to avoid an insufficient distance to the vehicle in front.

IMPORTANT The accelerator pedal module sensor (B37b1) records the position of the accelerator pedal module actuator motor (B37m1).

IMPORTANT The accelerator pedal module comprises 2 modules (accelerator pedal sensor control unit and accelerator pedal sensor (B37))
