Spray Pattern

  1. Operate test pump in smooth, even strokes and observe pattern of spray from tip of injector. The first 3" of spray from injector is important. Spray should be finely atomized in an even, straight pattern. See Fig 1 .

  2. If spray pattern is incorrect, clean injector and repeat test. See Overhaul section. After testing, disassemble injectors and clean in a decarbonizing solution or ultrasonic bath.
