Vane Airflow Meter

The VAF meter, through the use of a potentiometer, converts intake air volume into a voltage signal that varies depending on airflow. This signal is sent to the ECA. The voltage increases as airflow increases, and decreases as airflow decreases. The VAF meter also incorporates a sensor to detect intake air temperature and fuel pump switch to control fuel pump operation.
