The clutch is single-disc type, using a diaphragm spring to engage pressure plate. On turbo models, clutch operation is controlled by a mechanical release system consisting of clutch pedal, cable, release lever and release bearing. On non-turbo models, clutch operation is controlled by a hydraulic release system consisting of clutch pedal, master cylinder, slave cylinder, release lever and release bearing.
