Component Tests: Motor

Turn the ignition switch to OFF. Disconnect the power window motor assembly connector. Apply 12 volts to one terminal and ground the other terminal on the connector for two seconds. Reverse polarity on the connector. The motor should operate in both directions. Replace if operation is not as specified. See MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
