Manual Lever Position Switch Test

Disconnect Manual Lever Position (MLP) switch. Test for continuity between Light Green wire and Light Green/Black wire. See WIRING DIAGRAM  . With gear selector lever in Park or Neutral, continuity should exist. In any other gear selection, continuity should not exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
