Engine Mechanical: Starter: Description

The starter is a gear-reduction, permanent-magnet type motor with an externally mounted solenoid. Starting system consists of a starter motor, solenoid, battery, ignition switch, Transmission Range (TR) switch(A/T) or Starter Clutch Pedal Position (SCPP) switch (M/T), starter interrupt relay (with anti-theft system) and interconnecting cables and wires.
