Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the bolts and the accelerator splash shield.

  2. Remove the spring and disconnect the accelerator cable.

  3. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the bracket.

  4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the cable retainer.

  5. Remove the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly. For additional information, refer to WIPER MOUNTING ARM AND PIVOT SHAFT .
  6. Position aside the wiring harness shield.
  7. Remove the nuts.

  8. NOTE: Non-memory pedal shown, memory pedal similar.

  9. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.
  10. Remove the accelerator cable retainer.

  11. Pull the cable through the dash panel and remove from the vehicle.
  12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
