Operational Check

Disconnect fuel pump electrical connector. Connect jumper wire between ground terminal of fuel pump and good body ground point. Connect another jumper wire from fuel pump power supply terminal to alternator output terminal. See Fig 1 . Pump should run. If not, replace pump.

NOTE: Connect jumper wire to alternator output terminal last.
