Continuous Memory Codes

  1. To ensure proper diagnosis of continuous memory codes, PREPARATION, EQUIPMENT HOOK-UP  , KEY ON/ENGINE OFF SELF-TEST  , TIMING CHECK, and ENGINE RUNNING SELF-TEST must be successfully completed. If both KEY ON/ENGINE OFF and ENGINE RUNNING SELF-TEST display code 11 (Pass), go to CLEARING CONTINUOUS MEMORY CODES.
  2. If code 11 is not present, return to PREPARATION step and make the necessary repairs indicated in KEY ON/ENGINE OFF and ENGINE RUNNING SELF-TEST before going to CLEARING CONTINUOUS MEMORY CODES.
