Inertia Switch Test

If fuel pump fails to operate, check inertia switch in spare tire well. Current to fuel pumps runs through this switch. It will need to be reset if the vehicle has suffered an impact. To reset, first check fuel system for leaks and then depress button on top of switch. After depressing button, fuel pumps should operate. If not, check fuel pump relay.
