Test C

  1. Turn ignition off. Measure resistance between breakout box pins No. 4 and 22 (right rear sensor), No. 5 and 23 (left front sensor), No. 6 and 24 (left rear sensor) and No. 7 and 25 (right front sensor). If resistance is between 800-1400 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not 800-1400 ohms, repair wire harness.
  2. Raise and support vehicle so wheels can be turned. Turn ignition off. While spinning appropriate wheel one revolution per second, measure AC voltage between breakout box pins No. 4 and 22 (right rear sensor), No. 5 and 23 (left front sensor), No. 6 and 24 (left rear sensor) and No. 7 and 25 (right front sensor). If voltage is less than .15 AC volt, check wheel sensor mounting and wire integrity, repair as necessary. If voltage is more than .15 AC volt, check wheel bearing end play. Inspect sensor ring for damage. Repair as necessary.
